Products We Like
These are a few new products we are offering this year.

FreezePruf, made by Liquid Fence is a great new item to help protect your early plantings from frost.  It improves the cold tolerance by 9.4 degrees!!  It is biodegradable and eco-safe.  We can all use this!!  Makes planting a little earlier less risky!!

Quik Start, by MiracleGro is a planting and transplanting starting solution.  It's safe for all flowers and vegetables.  It stimulates the root growth for faster blooming and helps prevent shock.  You really should use this on all your plantings!

Petunia Feed, by Jack's Classic is a plant food formulated to feed iron hungry plants like petunias.  It stops the yellowing of the leaves.  Works great for petunias, bacopa, callibrachoa.  A great product for those huge petunia baskets!!

We also carry:
Glacial Rock Dust, a good mineral supplement.
Bat Guano, high in phosphorous
Worm Castings, nature's compost

Awesome Wall Garden
New Idea!!! Fabulous Wall Garden!!

On the left you will see a link to a picture of a wall garden created by Patrick Blanc a botanist and artist and inventor of the vertical gardens.  It is amazing.  This particular garden is in Tacoma, WA.  The garden is constructed of double layers of felt.  A slit is cut and the plant placed in.  A staple or two will hold it in place.  The idea is to mimic the plants natural growing locations like cliff walls and rocky areas with very little soil if any.  This vertical garden is huge but I think there are many areas to do this on a small scale in many yards, and on a deck or patio wall or partition.
You can read more about the garden if you go to the Pacific Northwest magazine, dated January 9th under 'Tacoma's Goodwill Garden'
